More than 400 people attended the First International Human Rights Symposium 2017. On the occasion of this year's jubilee year, the program offers references to the years 1938 ("Anschluss" to National Socialist Germany), 1948 (the human rights that emerged in the years 1941-1947, in a draft for a declaration of human rights submitted in September 1948 and ratified in Austria in 1958) and 2018 (right-wing populist groups, dismantling of the welfare state, etc.)
In the lectures and workshops, the focus is on children and youth rights, the cultural program on the subject of escape.
Workshops on the subject of hate posting, participation in the company and a guided tour with an interview with Franz HACKL are aimed specifically at apprentices.
