The library of the Jewish Museum Vienna is the Austria’s largest special library dedicated to the topic of Judaism. The collection consists of literature on the history, religion and culture of Judaism, as well as poetry and fiction by female and male Jewish authors, magazines and reference works. Currently, the library has around 45,000 printed books; the oldest ones date from the 16th century.
