The International Culture and Arts Association ADAM - based in Vienna / Austria is full of enthusiasm and enthusiasm has decided to perform a production on Independence Day - 70 years of Israel and 100 years of Republic of Austria, in Vienna.
The performance of the "Friendship of the Peoples" is a cultural exchange project and will take place on October 25, 2018 at 19:00 in the concert hall of the "Wiener Sänger Knaben" MUTH ".
The concert program features composers from West and East. The Youth Symphony Orchestra performs with a Western program that, in concert with an oriental ensemble, builds sound bridges between different music cultures.
In past centuries, European composers have incorporated Turkish-Arabic and Jewish melodies, sounds and sound sequences from the Orient into their music. With these influences operas were colored and folk sounds integrated into their art music. In return, Western music also influences the traditions and new creations of the music of the Orient.
The orchestra musicians (aged 14 to 18 years) illustrate these influences, the differences and peculiarities and make them audible to small and large ears.
The Alaev family presents Eastern works of Tajik - Israeli music of their own cultural space.
For the 100th anniversary of Austria, the association ADAM will present the works of important expelled Austrian and Jewish composers and modern Jewish sounds. The most beautiful highlights from opera, operetta and Jewish melodies perform.
In order to stifle anti-Semitism in the bud and promote a positive attitude, this project is anxious to stabilize the peace and the connection between the cultures of Austria and Israel.
Furthermore, it is a concern to us to rekindle the historical importance of the compositions and works of displaced composers.
The gala concert will bring together the musical styles from East and West in a common sound language. Exciting! And best suited for big and small ears.
