Grandma & Bell is a film about two Jewish women in Berlin and portrays their decades of friendship: The two share not only an extraordinary story, but keep it alive with humor and good Yiddish cuisine. The film accompanies the friends through their everyday life, observes them in their daily routines, listens to their talks about their origin, identity and memory. He traces the courageous decision of the two Holocaust survivors to make Germany home, to reinvent themselves and their lives in Jewish tradition.
