The Jewish Street Festival takes place every year on a Sunday in June. Admission is free; a photo ID is required for entry.
Anyone who would like to learn more about Jewish life should not miss the Jewish Street Festival. The festival has been held for many years in June at Judenplatz in Vienna. By now more than 6,000 visitors attend this event every year. In addition to numerous information and sales booths dedicated to Jewish life, our stage program features music and dance, as well as activities for children such as a bouncy castle and face painting. Of course kosher culinary delights are also provided.
Dozens of Jewish associations and institutions offer insights into their work at the festival booths. These include youth and charity organizations, booths from the various departments of the Jewish Community of Vienna and many others. In addition numerous Jewish artists and designers exhibit their artworks including handicrafts, jewelry, Judaica, pop art, and much more—which can of course be purchased if desired.
Food and refreshments are well taken care of. From savory to sweet, discover kosher cuisine!
