The Saphir Brothers are three men whose behavior could not be more contradictory: Mordechai, called Manni, is a connoisseur of the art of living, with a strong propensity for gambling and short-lived affairs. Moische Saphir has mobility problems. He lives with his large family in Mea Shearim, the Orthodox neighborhood of Jerusalem. Menachem, who calls himself Max, controls the family’s banking empire and is considered one of the richest men in the world. Laura, the beautiful Sephardic Jewish woman from the poorest of backgrounds, achieves what she wants – and yet she cannot prevent the worst from happening.

The story of the Saphir Brothers proves how the purest religiosity, the strongest love, but also the dirtiest crime flow into each other in our day. A novel in which nothing is invented. Suspenseful, exciting and criminal!
