Every Sunday from 2 to 4 pm the Jewish Museum Vienna offers a fascinating program for children (6 to 10 years) and families.

Before the Jewish Pesach festival, which will be celebrated this year from April 10 to April 18, a real spring cleaning will take place at home. Everything that is chametz, leavened foods like bread, rolls, cookies, wafers and normal flour, has to leave the house – right down to the very last crumb. During our Pesach tour you will find out why that is the case, what is celebrated at Pesach and why you should eat unleavened matzah bread. To make sure when cleaning at home that everything is “chametz-free,” you will build your own chametz crumb-cleaning machines!
